Puerto Natales, Chile
We spent the morning the day before our trek wandering around town. We went down to the water and enjoyed the view of the mountains. It was brisk but everyone said the park was a lot colder. Next, we walked to the bus station to buy our tickets out of town, but we accidentally forgot to bring our passports with us...so that foiled that plan. After that bust we went to our travel agency office that booked the trek for us, and got our VIP coupon that was a perk of booking through them. Definitely didn't want our free pisco sours to go to waste!
After all that morning walking, we ended up going back to the hostel, relaxing a bit before making lunch. Jenny took a quick nap and I wrote some blog posts. (I have to be ahead of her because she likes reading them and editing them before posting). Then we just cooked some dinner. We had the lentils that we've been carrying around with us forever and some broccoli and a grilled cheese. So gourmet!
After dinner we just packed and got ready for the trek tomorrow. It is a 5 day/4-night trek so we will be back soon!
