El Chalten to Bariloche, Argentina

Since we did not have any plans except for a travel day, we took our time in the morning. We collected all our freshly cleaned clothes from the front desk and headed towards the bus station. There was a 1130 bus that would get us to the airport at 2:30  PM, which worked perfectly because the next bus would have arrived to the airport at 4pm. That would have been cutting it close for our 5:20pm flight.

We arrived in Bariloche and needed to get to the city center and find a hostel for the night since we didn't book anything in advance. We were able to split a cab with a German couple and the cab driver dropped us off right by their hostel.  We ended up wandering to a hostel a block up the road to see if they had availability for the night.  Luckily they did, and it ended up being a great find.  The owner was super nice, cut us a deal when we got there and we pretty much had the entire hostel to ourselves!  The owner told us he brews his own beer with the staff there so I was interested in trying it. It had all the same properties of my beer too! It was super carbonated, it had sediment at the bottle of the bottle, and had that unfiltered color to it. It was tasty. The owner called it a pale ale and it was pretty close but it needed to be a tad more hoppy.
After dinner, the owner sat down with us telling us all the spots to go to in the city and how to get there. It was super helpful and will come in handy when we go back to Bariloche when Tim get in town.

PS: Everyone has Saint Bernards here and we have no idea why.  Maybe something with Beehtoven?  Going to have to google that later.
