La Paloma, Uruguay

Our second night in La Paloma it was supposed to rain all day. We woke up that morning and checked the weather and it looked like the storm pushed out another day so we were going to have a sunny beach day for valentine’s day! We enjoyed the weather in the morning, read our books but realized it was way too hot for us, so we headed back inside for a quick nap in the upstairs patio area. It was a perfect lazy Tuesday. Since we didn't do valentine's day presents, we figured the least we could do was splurge for our own room instead of staying in the dorms. We were excited because our upgraded room had its own A/C!! We mostly just relaxed for the rest of the night, picked up our laundry, and did some handwashing in the shower.
