Buenos Aires, Argentina

Today was another slow morning. Thursday night at our hostel it sounded like someone was destroying furniture until 1am so we did not get the best sleep. We decided to do some yoga in the morning because my hips were hurting from all the walking. After yoga, we showered and headed to the neighborhood called La Boca, which is  where the Boca Juniors' stadium is. We met up with Jenny's friends from Baltimore, Suzanne and Brad, who were ending their honeymoon with a few days in BA (Congrats!!).  We met for lunch at a restaurant in La Boca, and got all the W-circuit details for when we head to Patagonia.  We all thought were ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with chorizo but actually, we got a cast iron pan of grilled cheese with chorizo on top. It was still delicious.

After lunch, we walked around the famous streets, looked at some of the local artists’ work and be tourist for the afternoon. We randomly stumbled upon an artist that makes carvings out of matchsticks. It was so intricate and fun that Suzanne and Brad bought a few to take home

We crushed our leftovers from Don Julio for dinner and decided since it was our last night we should go out for a bit. Of course, typical Jenny and I, we went to a couple breweries. The first one was called Sexton Beer Company and it was run by a guy from Atlanta. Their beers sounded cool and unique but were not very good. We went to Patagonia brewery next, and the beers we had there we much better!
