Buenos Aires, Argentina

Yesterday was the first day of our trip and we could not believe that Tom Brady and the Patriots won the super bowl. We were at the airplane bar watching the first half before catching our long flight. Jenny was able to book us an exit row on our first flight to JFK and then we got coach plus seats for the long haul. We were right behind first class! It was a night flight so we tried to sleep but it's tough sleeping on planes plus the food came around super early. I watched War Dogs which was silly but entertaining. The ride was pretty smooth and we landed at about 10am in BA. No issues with the bags or customs and then we were off to get some cash. The ATM was weird and only let us take out 1000 pesos(68 bucks). Once we got cash, we met up with the guy holding Jenny's name and  then he called the driver. The driver was nice and spoke to me in Spanish most of the way there for practice. We couldn't check in until 2pm so we just hung out in the lobby of our hostel. The hostel had some cool graffiti art and it seemed to be a fun area. After we g
ot to our room, we cleaned up a bit and went to find some lunch. Latino Sandwich was the spot and the sandwich was pretty legit. Pretty cheap too!

We took a quick nap after dinner and then went to go see La Bomba de Tiempo. They only perform once a week so we had to see them our first night. La Bomba was an amazing live drum show. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. The venue was this cool warehouse and even outside the show, it was party. We got a couple of beers, listened to the concert and then headed home.
